4 Ways To Kickstart a New Diet

When you start a new diet, its normal to want to see results as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, if it’s a healthy diet, it’s going to be a gradual change rather than immediate results. It can be frustrating for people who don’t feel like they can stay motivated without seeing the results as soon as possible.

Although you will never see results overnight, there are ways to kickstart your diet into working more effectively.  It’s all about knowing how to pair your diet with the right formula in order to maximize your efforts. Here are some of the simplest and yet most effective ways to kickstart your diet right away.

Go On a Detox

Part of the reason that going on a diet is challenging at first is because you’ve developed a habit of eating a certain way.  Therefore, it can be difficult to make drastic changes by cutting out certain foods that you love.

Detoxing your body at the beginning of your diet is the best way to ensure that your cravings will lessen.  You’ll also find that your body will have less waste to weigh you down. You’ll feel more energized and motivated to keep up with your diet efforts.

Intermittent Fasting

Even though your diet may be cutting out extra calories sometimes it’s not enough.  Intermittent fasting is a way to cut out even more calories and also burn extra fat.

When your body is in a fed state then it burns food for its energy source.  However, when you don’t eat for a period of at least 16 hours your body starts to burn its reserve fat instead.  Your results won’t just come faster, but there will be more results overall. Experts recommend fasting for no longer than 24 hours twice a week in order to keep it simple and sustainable.

Cardio

Getting in a good workout is a great way to burn calories and build your muscles.  The more weight that you start to lose from your diet, the more that your muscles will start to reveal themselves as your body changes and you become leaner.

You’ll find that you’ll shed the fat and transform it into muscle by getting in a good workout.   Try to sweat at least 30 minutes a day for maximal results which are still flexible with your schedule.

Lots of Water

Drinking at least a gallon of water a day is a great way to ensure that your body has all of the tools that you need in order to properly hydrate itself.

Water will help keep your digestion regular and even improve your skin. By keeping a bottle on hand at all times you’ll ensure that you have all that you need to keep hydrated and healthy.
